I really isn't very complicated.
I've based all my templates on the index.php file, so its just to compare the old index file with the new one - and transfer any changes to the templates. From 3.4.2 to 3.4.4 that file has remained unchanged. ONE OTHER QUESTION is how important it is to upgrade the theme. If it runs smoothly and no new (for me) crucial features are added, does it make any sense? (Have tried to search a tread about this, but strangely enough haven't found any) :-) |
how important is it to upgrade anything? I always tell people to pick yout technology time slice and be happy with it. Why chanage unless you have to...or something else, say a big security hole is discovered, forces you to.
You do run into the issue of wanting to make a change and run into aproblem, but your code release is unsupported.... |
Thank you so much juggledad, you just saved me much concern. I am still very happy using 3.3.3 even after upgrading WP, no challenges.
This immediately preceding post of yours is a big relief. No sense creating a problem and/or work when not necessary. Thank you, Craig |
