page/post format option not appearing

Manually upgraded to 3.1 today and some features appearing such as admin bar, but page/post format option not appearing.

Here is the functionality I am referring to:

So tested on dev server with no plugins and default template and still does not appear.

Ends up Atahualpa doe snot support.

That function has to be added to a theme. Look a little further down on the page you linked to.

That option is not currently in the theme
