NextGen or Royal Gallery

Has anyone successfully used Royal Gallery with Atahualpa?

Also, I am looking for installation instructions for adding a NextGen gallery to page content but all I am finding is how to add to a sidebar or widget.

Can someone direct me to a post or instruct how to add Next Gen gallery to a page/ center column?

NextGen adds a button to the visual editor for adding galleries and images to any post or page.
