Integrating WP-PostRatings in Category listing pages
 

Hi
I am new to this forum and am a novice on PHP/CSS
I am looking forward to achieving something like which divides the category listing page in two colums
One column shows the normal posts and the other has the top rated wp-postrating posts from that category

can anyone give me some ideas that how can I can achieve this?
basically I need to know how to divide the category listing page in two colums, with one column having my custom code of wp-postratings

I realised that there is also a popluar/top posts widget with Atahualpa theme, so can anyone point that how can I integrate this into the category page instead of the wp-postratings
please note that, I want to integrate this in the page itself, not in the side bar
