Using same links widget for two different lists

I would like to have at least two lists of links: one to list local bloggers and another to list local resources that are websites, not blogs.

I've look through the forum and done a lot of Google searches, but can't find a way to do this. I'm a bit of a newbie, so a relatively easy solution would be preferred. Thanks.

You could try using the TEXT widget and code your own links

Or you could use Links in your dashboard. Create as many categories as you want. Then create links and assign them to categories. Then in Appearance/Widgets, find Blogroll or Bookmarks (depends on which version of Wordpress you have) and add that to a sidebar. Pick one of the categories you just made. Save it. Then add the widget again and choose another category of links.
