menu issue after upgrading to wp 4.8

I'm running Atahualpa 3.5.3 (long story). I've just upgraded wordpress to 4.8 and noticed that the menu was changed. The arrow to submenu disappear and the box for submenu is to short. See the picture attached.

Changing option "width of submenu" in Ahatualpa options doesn't give any results.

Any idea how to fix it.

Step 1 - do a complete backup of your site
Step 2 - upgrade Atahualpa to the latest version 3.7.24
the see what you have as issues.
