Help with Styling Widgets
Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone can help, I have a website with three widgets set up at the top which contain *A Widget Title *The featured image of a most recent post in a category *The excerpt of a most recent post in a category *A link to all of the posts in that category The blog is here: http://www.jonrouston.co.uk/blog/ I'm having problems getting those elements to line up correctly so that each of the four things detailed above lines up in the center. So far I've tried *Giving lots of elements a width of 33% *Using text-align: center on stuff *Removing the indent on the lists in Atahualpa style widgets As you can see, I'm a bit of a CSS novice. If anyone could point me in the right direction (I'm not asking for code, just a bit of a nudge in the right direction), I'd be really grateful. Thanks Jon jon |
Hi!
I am using this code to center mine. div.widget { text-align: center !important; } (btw, very beautiful photos) |

Unfortunately though that didn't work. I'm guessing I need to find a div that encloses the others so I can center them in that? Am I allowed to offer this as a job (i.e. paying) on this board? |
Sure you can. Let me ask you, what widgets are you using in each area?

Hi,
I have a plugin called 'category-posts' plugin and their widget is the first one. Followed by a text box which contains 'read other posts about <category>' If anyone would like to sort this out for a bit of cash please email me jon@jonrouston.co.uk. Thanks |
