[SOLVED] Limit Excerpts on Home Page

I finally found where I can do just excerpts on my home page but I only want to have excerpts from 3 posts on the home page. How can I limit this?

The number of posts shown on a multi post page is controlled in the Wordpress setting 'reading' options.
