Search yields unexpected results

Hello all,
My search is http://www.centraliowaiiba.org/wordpress/?s=newsletter

and the issue is that there are several other post displaying before and after the newsletter post. The other postings have links which are inactive on this page. What is going on?
My wp version is 2.7 and I have the latest Atahualpa.
If this have already been posted please excuse and direct me to the post.

Use a search plugin. The default WP search sure isn't WP's best feature
