[SOLVED] Header Not Displaying Correctly in IE8

Can't figure out why my header does not display correctly in IE8 (http://sweetboutiquellc.com). I have specified a div height of 140px, yet it displays at about 280px in IE8. Displays correctly in Safari, Chrome, and FF. When I switch to compatibility view, it does eliminate the extra space, but then cuts off the headline and enlarges the heart image. Any ideas on how to correct? Thanks much.

I don't totally understand the code you have in the new_logo_area div. You have a couple of empty <a> elements and a height an width of 50% for the heart image. I don't know if that is causing any of your issues though.

Thanks again Larry. It was the empty <a> element that was causing the problem.
