[SOLVED] Byline working in single post pages, but not multiple?
Hi,
Still trying to figure out why this is happening and nothing I change seems to work. I'm running Wordpress 2.9.2 and Atahualpa 3.4.6 (LOVE this theme by the way...between the wonderful directions on the theme and searching this forum, I've been able to get my site going and have received many compliments!) Anyway, I am having a terrible time trying to get the post byline to display on the multiple post pages. It shows fine on the single posts. I have the exact same thing in the fields in both places. By %author-nickname%, on %date('F jS, Y')% In WP's options I have the user's role set as author and a nickname, and display name publicly as the nickname. What am I missing? In case you need it, my site is www.compresby.org Thanks for any help you can provide! Denise |
I assume you are talking about the 'pastor's Blog' page?
You need put the settings in the 'BYLINE: Homepage' The HOME page in WordPress is always the BLOG page |
:o Oops!
I figured (incorrectly, obviously!) since I changed the 'home' page to a static page and made the posts page 'pastor's blog' that it couldn't possibly be the problem. Sometimes the easiest things are the hardest for me. Thank you!!! Problem solved! Denise |
