[SOLVED] a parse error rather than the 404 page displayed when page not found
Someone in my organization inadvertently sent out an email with a link to a page on the old website which does not exist on the new website:
http://www.agnon.org/whats_happening/parasha.php Instead of the 404 message, the site shows the following error message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/shem/public_html/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/functions.php(477) : eval()'d code on line 2 Why is that, and what can I do to fix that? L. |
What version of Atahualpa and WP?
what is in parasha.php? |
Oops, sorry.
WP 2.8.5 ATA 3.4.3 parasha.php was a page that appeared on the old site (it's the weekly torah portion). The client decided to drop this feature, so there's no corresponding page on the new site. |
Why not put in a new module with that name and have it send you to the home page

Good solution. And speedy, too.
Thanks! |
