how to manually insert adsense code into atahualpa?

using atahulapa 3.6.4
wordpress 3.0.5

i try diferrent adsense plugins they dont work

another plugin it was annoying and deceiving, makes me put ads of the plugin author and it was very tricky to remove them, even after that there was still issues, which the author only tells "it is a bug and will fix later"

so i decided not to use any other adsense plugin

any ideas how to put it manually, i did it myself, and it shows ok on the widget area and single post

but on the homepage, it repeats itself at the beginning of each featured post, how to i correctly put the adsense ad below the title of the first post only on the homepage??

Look at example 1 in

ATO=> Style & Edit center column => The Loop

which should give you most of what you need. Your ad code will go in place of the second line, obviously.

The main difference you're looking for is that you want it below the post title and above the body, if I read your question correctly. In that case you'd insert the stuff from example 1 between the 7th and 8th php statement in The Loop - ie, between the one that references bfa_post_byline and the one for bfa_post_bodycopy.
