[SOLVED] Getting rid of new, unused widget areas

Just wondering how to get rid of new, but unused widget areas. I did a little experimenting this morning to see if I could figure out how to add a new widget area to the header. So in ATA, I went to the "Add new widget Areas" and grabbed a bit of coding and put it into the "Style and Edit header area" Well, it worked, but by the time I realized it worked, I found 10 new and unused widget areas in the "Wiget" area of wordpress. There doesn't seem to be any way to delete these areas even though the code has been removed.

Advice please. :):)

1) remove any widgets in it
2) remove the code where you put it
3) visit the site and refresh the page
4) go to ATO->Add new WIDGET AREAS->Delete custom Widget Areas and check off the one you want to delete and click the 'Delete checked Widget Areas' link

Thanks JD. Step #4 did the trick. I just didn't know how these new widgets work. Easy stuff once you know.
Much Appreciated,
