[SOLVED] changing color in comments section

hello.

i have been looking around on here for the location of the info to change the color and size of the comments section. specifically, i am wanting to make the purple box much smaller, and potentially not purple, just white like the rest of the page. where would i change this.

you can see what i mean at www.genwithag.com

thanks
gen

In your admin panel look under Appearance>ATO (theme options)>Under comments choose Style and configure comments. Cheers!

i have found this page. and i assume that what i should be looking at is comment form style. but when i play around with that, it seems only to affect the actual input fields. and i am hoping to change the purple box that surrounds the input fields. i don't see any code on this page that is a reflection of that large purple box.

the only purple box I see at that URL is the header (top of the page) is that what you want to change?

thanks for your response. no, the purple that i want to change appears when you click "leave a comment" on any post. i'm seeing it in both firefox and safari, but haven't been able to test it in ie. there is a large lilac (perhaps grey? it's very light) box that spans the width of the center column surrounding the input fields for comments. I'd like to be able to change that color and perhaps eliminate it entirely.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

have you looked at the 'Style & configure COMMENTS' section of the theme?

i did, but i kept missing it in there. i've figured it out though. thanks!
