Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA - Removing Uncategoried Category from the Display

Hello,

I want to remove the "Uncategorzied" category form the left display bar. In the admin theme options of sidebars, I have put "1" in the fields of "Left Sider: Do not display category" and also in field of :"Right Sider: Do not display on Categories". But It does not seems to work. It still shows "UnCategorized" in the list of categories on the left side.

Another questions ( however not very imp one), When I put the ad unit code in the footers.php then the ad unit is appearing on top of page. Is there easy way to display the ad unit in the middle of Logo and pages menu( Home.. about), Can I put something between (%logo %pages)?
