[SOLVED] Layout Width Not Changing

Hi Guys,

I couldn't find a specific forum for the overall style & config but this seemed like the most relevant place.

I have the option for layout width and type set to 90%. It's always been 90% as far as I recall.
Today I decide to change it to see what it looks like at 99%.
Looks terrible. Preferred it at 90%.
I return the setting to 90% and save the changes.
Unfortunately the website isn't getting the message.
It's still at 99%.
I tried 80%, 70% and 50% with the same results : No change to the width.
Set it back to 90% even though nothing changes.
I've done all the usual stuff with 4 different browsers, restarted the PC etc... just in case it was caching. No dice.
Then I decided to see if the latest update would fix it. So I upgraded to the latest 3.6.7.
Upgrade went fine, no worries there.
But still no changes in width no matter what I put in the box.

Anyone got any ideas why this might be or perhaps have a solution ?

Site is www.hampshireskeptics.org

Try a fixed width and see what happens. Did you apply the patches for 3.6.7? I know that is not necessarily related to your problem but the patches are important.

Thanks dude, I'll give the fixed width thing a shot in the hope that resets it but I don't want a fixed width site.
And patches ? What patches ? Don't know anything about them.
Was the latest upgrade version not enough ?

I just this second fixed it !
:)

You'll never believe what it was.

You have to put the percentage sign (%) in the box too !
I was just putting the number in there.
Wow.
I thought about making it 1000 pixels wide and then thought, if I enter 1000 in the box how does it know the difference between 1000% and 1000px ? Answer : It doesn't. You have to add in the suffix.
Ah well. Easy fix but not one I expected.

Thanks.
