[SOLVED] Placing an image in the footer of a Page?

I'm using Atahualpa 3.2 for a plain info site, no blog at the moment. How can I place an image in the footer of a Page? It needs to be right justified.

So far, I've uploaded an image into the theme/image/icon and then in ATO/Footer/Footer Content, i've typed "; <image(nameofimage.gif)> after "All Rights Reserved". The semicolon shows but not the image!

I'd suggest that if this is a new site, you get version 3.4.4 (you can get it at http://wordpress.bytesforall.com/?p=81) You could then use one of the new footer widgets, add a text widget and display you r image in via html

I've been away for a few days so apologies for delay in responding.

I've managed to upgrade to 3.4.4 now. I cannot find a "footer widget" that's new to this version, either in WP/Appearance/Widgets or in WP/ATO/.......

Sorry that it's such a basic question.

see ATO->Add new WIDGET AREAS

is there no other way to add a footer image other than to add the widget?

You could add the html to the 'Footer: Content' area

i added the image in the footer and now there is a small gap inbetween the body and the footer. do i look in the body or the footer to fix.

mandybass.com /getwired is the website without the spaces.

you have a <p> before the html for the image. that puts in a blank line and causes the break.

Reviving an old thread.

I'm trying to paste the following html into my site. I've tried to put it in the Footer: Content section and in the Left Sidebar as a Text widget, and neither is working. Any ideas?

not knowing anything else than what you describe, I notice teh heifght and width are 1 - that's awful small isn't it?

Ah, I see. Turns out the code that I posted was just a dummy code while my verification for this particular service was being processed. Once the application was approved, the code was valid. It's now posted nicely in the sidebar.

Thanks for reading and commenting :)
