[SOLVED] Is there a 'simple' or 'page' php I can alter?

Hi
I'm working on www.parkersaquatic.com using a Wysija newsletter plugin.
I've disabled comments on the whole site but when you sign up for the newsletter you get sent to a page like this - http://www.parkersaquatic.com/?wysij...iptions&demo=1
which has a comment box.

I'd like to remove the comment box and the Wysija advice is to alter either the simple.php or page.php in the theme, neither of which I can find.

This is what they say to do:
Use a new single page template to change the confirmation messages entirely. Follow these instructions:

Locate your theme’s folder on your computer
Duplicate the file single.php or page.php. The latter usually doesn’t show author, comments, etc.

Rename it single-wysijap.php
Modify the code as you wish. For example, find the line for the author and remove it.
To change the styles, add your new CSS classes to style.css of your theme
Upload single-wysijap.php to your theme’s folder online using FTP, or other method
In Wysija > Settings > Advanced you can preview the unsubscribe page
Any help would be (as always) much appreciated!
Lisa

What did you do to disable comments for the whole site? In other words what section of the theme options and/or WordPress settings did you change?

I used a plugin - http://rayofsolaris.net/code/disable...-for-wordpress

I would play with some of the theme options to see what happens.

Thank you Larry, can you give me a clue as to where to start, I've looked and looked and can't see anything likely

You could try
HTML Code:

display:none;
in the comment form style box.

ah Larry, I've said it before, you know what I'm going to say....

You are a genius:)

Thank you so much, all sorted!
