Who has updated to wordpress 2.8.6?
 

I'm looking for someone that who has upgraded to 2.8.6 with atahualpa 3.4.4 to know if there is minor or major issues or all run well?
I've still the 2.8.4 that was the version I had when installed and personalized atahualpa but I know that is important to update for security reasons but cannot "broke" the site right now.
Any help or suggestion will be very appreciated :)

I just ran an update on one of my sites and "as usual" no problems. If you have any concerns just make sure to back up your database and site files.

I've seen only one odd thing since updating, and it's not Atahualpa-based. My WordPress Stats for a couple of days show much higher traffic than reflected by the per-page stats or by Google Analytics.

No issues whatsoever this time. Usually my categories disappear from my category bar, because the My Category Order plugin seems to mess things up, but nothing happened this time.

Yes, thanks for sharing your experiences. I didn't want to be the guinea pig. (Although with my look I'm using some combination of plug-ins that no one else is and my site will crash when I upgrade. :p)


Edit: Actually, it all went fine.

This upgrade was really just to patch a couple of security holes, so I'm not surprised it went well for most. The next big update will be version 2.9, and it has lots of really new stuff. I'm testing it on a "sandbox" site I set up. Some really nice new features in the offiing.

I attended NYC Wordcamp yesterday. About 700 WordPress fanatics were there. It was great! I wish Flynn would attend next year and be a presenter.
