Possible to show summary posts on the front page?

I am wondering if there is a way to collapse the posts on the front page slightly so that just the first paragraph or so shows on the front page with a (read more) link instead of the user having to scroll by each and every entire entry. Just think it looks neater and tidier that way.

you need to go thru the theme options and I'm sure you will find out how to do it.

Yes got it now. Is it possible to change the "[...]" into a link that says (read more) or something along those lines?

Did you look at all the options dealing with excerpts?
