how do you turn off categories, archives, etc?
 

hi,

I'm really new to wordpress and the Atahualpa theme and at the moment I'm just playing about to see what it does.

For an application I have in mind, is there an option anywhere to 'turn' off' the options of having categories, archives, recent posts, blogroll, etc., so that basically all I have are the site pages and log-in?

I can't seem to find an option to do this, can anyone help with how to do it?

If you really mean you want to shut them off, then NO, they are part of WordPress.

if you are talking about the sidebar widgets, es you can add a blank text widget to both sidebars and they will go away.
