[SOLVED] How do you hide the site title under a header image?
I understand that it's better for SEO to leave the site title/description intact... and I've heard something about hiding it under a header image. I've tried a dozen times but I'm confused. Can anyone help me?
this is my site: www.plantdevotion.com I would like to hide the title and description "Plant Devotion," "For the Love of Plants" under my header image. Thanks!! |
First take a look at your code for the "site title". It appears you have an <a> tag inside an <h1> tag and the closing <h1> tag is not closed properly. Plus you are using <center> tags instead of CSS. I'm not sure what is going on with the code.
You can just put your title in a div with an ID and then position where you want with CSS. |
So basically if I had cleaned the code up I would have had it right?
Because it works now! Thanks very much! I have the bare minimum when it comes to CSS knowledge. I started writing elementary html code in the early 2000s and gave up when books became more primary to my focus. (: I appreciate all the help I can get. |
