Page to Cat
I downloaded the page-2-cat plugin. It has been activated, but I am not sure which files I have to edit to get it just right. I been sifting through files on this forum, and dont get it.
Which index.php file will I be editing, there seems to be one in every directory. Last, what is the exact code I am putting in? When I go to add a new post, I would like to be able to select a "specific page" as opposed to all posts being put on one page. I hope this plug is the one. P. |
You shouldn't have to edit anything in the theme files, Atahualpa is prepared for Page2Cat
Only adjust the settings of the plugin on its menu page. Keep in mind that it has two modes of operation, displaying posts of a certain category on a page, or displaying the content of a page on top of a category page. One mode is adjusted on the plugin's settings page whereas the other mode is controlled through template tags such as [something] that you put into the content of a page. I don't know which mode does what off the top of my head but it is explained on the plugin's homepage |
