Possible to mix 2 and 1 sidebar widgets?

Hi,

Sorry for my cryptic title, I didn't know how to put it.

I'm wondering if it's possible to divide my sidebar widgets so that the first part has one wide widget, and after a set amount of space the widgets are divided as two.

I need this since I need lots of text space at the top of my sidebar, and after the text I'd just like the widgets to contain "smaller" stuff, like category lists and such. I can't really have it all in one long widget since the readers will have to scroll very far, and two sidebars is kind of messy in my design..

Perhaps an easier way of saying it is having my sidebar widgets as a large PI-sign. :)

I hope you understand what I mean. Is it possible in atahualpa, in some way? Thanks!

One way you should be able to do that is put a two celled widget area in a php aware widget such as Linkable Title Html and Php Widget. The instructions in the Add New Widget Area section of the theme options will show you how.

Then you would put the full width widgets above the Linkable Title widget and you will also see two other widget areas where you put the info for two columns.

take a look at HOWTO: put an AD (or other) widget over/in the middle/under two sidebars
