[SOLVED] Featured Image cropping wrong
I'm using a Featured Image from the featured image dialog box for the post. I want the images to show up on archive pages as 150X150 cropped images. Under Post Thumbnails in Atahualpa options I chose crop image and set it dimensions to 150 X 150. I used your recommended
coding to place the image:

Post Excerpt starts here...

All the images are cropping at 150X43. I cannot figure out why they are cropping at a height of 43. What am I missing. Here's an example of an archive page with images cropped at that ratio; http://www.scidangelsforlife.com/category/past_events/ Thanks for your help. Barb |
What do you have the thumbnail size set for in WordPress>Settings>Media?

I had it set for 150X150, but did not have the check box marked for exact dimensions. I just checked the box and saved it. I tried removing and re-adding a featured image to see if it would crop to the 150X150 now, but alas, it is still 150X43.

Sometimes you either have to delete the image and re-upload so a new thumbnail is built or you can use a plugin like this one to regenerate all your thumbnails.

I'm using Wordpress 3.3.2 and Atahualpa 3.7.6

I'll try the thumbnail rebuilder. I tried selecting a photo that had not been used as a thumbnail previously and that didn't work either.

Thumbnail rebuilder did the trick!
Thanks so much! Barb:) |
