eliminate one sidebar?

Can I eliminate altogether the right sidebar? I tried setting the width to zero, but it just pushes outside my width of 700px.

Also, is there a way to designate a background color around the main box? I would like a blue background to appear "behind" the page. (I can move this question to another category if you'd like, let me know)

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

See Theme Options -> Sidebar

What do you mean with main box, the whole body (everything in the browser viewport), the whole layout, or the whole middle column (without header, sidebars, footer)? There are areas to style each one of these, if you click through the theme options a bit

Hi Flynn,

Ok, figured out how to get rid of the right column, and add a background color. But I can't seem to eliminate that padding around the body copy:

I just can't figure out where that styling is. I've played around with all different paddings, but just can't find the right place. Any thoughts. Thanks!

That's the padding of the middle column, see Theme Options -> Center

How were you able to add blue to the background of your site? I can't seem to find that in the options.
