[SOLVED] Video in sidebar
I've looked around a lot, but can't find the answer. Maybe someone here can help.
I'd like to show the latest posted video in a sidebar on my homepage, a bit like on: www.adformatie.nl. The postings with the category video will be placed on their own page. Do you have any suggestions on how to place the video in the sidebar? The site I'm developing is www.elektroretailmagazine.nl. |
Have you tried this one: http://webscripts.softpedia.com/scri...deo-48702.html

Here's the original plugin homepage with more details including comments with fixes for users who had problems. If this does not work try the default theme to see if it is caused by Atahualpa. If it works with the default theme but not with Atahualpa, let me know what exactly happens, what kind of error you get

Ok, Flynn, thanks for the response.
I've found the answer. It seems the plugin scans posts in a certain category for the syntax [youtube:url] and [googlevideo:url]. Because I use another plugin to include video in a post, it didn't find the required syntax. It works now, but I had hoped it would also find other video, including the films I upload, Vimeo, Flickr and others. Thanks for looking into this, I look a bit further myself as well. Cheers! Tim |
