[SOLVED] Featured Image not showing up in excerpt on blog page.
 

Hello

I'm using Atahualpa Version: 3.7.23 for my site at http://www.optimizeandthrive.com/blog/

The problem I'm running into is that the featured image is not showing up in the excerpt. I thought in previous versions on the other sites I run with Atahualpa that if I placed a featured image for a post it automatically placed it in the excerpt.

When I have turned off all plugins the featured image still did not show up.

Any thoughts? The answer is probably obvious, but I can't seem to figure it out.

your settings work fine for me. It looks like your site has a single post...are you sure it has a featured image?

I clicked on the Featured Image section to the right of the main post area and selected a pic from the media.

Not sure why it is not working. Never had this problem, it normally just works. I tried turning off every plugin and there was still no image showing on the blog page.

Thanks for the help. I will continue to tinker around to see if I can come up with something.

So when you edit the post you do have a featured image...right?

Yes I do. I have attached a image showing the post while being edited.

Just in case anyone else was having this issue.....

I simply had a number in the Show the first X posts on HOME page as full posts? area. So, my blog was showing full post versus the excerpts I thought I was showing.
