how do I add the statistics in my blog?

I want to add the statistics as "number of visitors"/number of comments" in my blog since xxxx.

how do I do that?

I am completely novice on blogging. appreciate your help! Thanks

There are plugins that do that. I would do a search on wordpress.org.
