Full image to show only on the first excerpt on the home page
 

Hello,

I hope someone can help me here.
I have thumbnails showing on excerpts, however I would like the first excerpt on the homepage to show the full size image and not the thumbnail. The rest of the excerpts on the homepage should show thumbnails.

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to do this? I would really appreciate your help.

Possible to do, sure anything is possible. Easy to do, nope you will have to dig in and understand the code, the add custom code to do what you want or write a page template.

Or you could look into hiring someone, but then it will be expensive
