Hi JuggleDad & the Atahualpa Team,
I also cannot get fancybox to work on http://travelhorizonstyle.com.au/con.../testimonials/ . I have done the following: 1. Uploaded jquery.fancybox.pack.js 2. Uploaded images to the same dir. 3. Created & uploaded a file called jquery.fancy.js with the code: `$(document).ready(function() { $("a.pop").fancybox({ 'zoomOpacity' : true, 'overlayShow' : false, 'zoomSpeedIn' : 400, 'zoomSpeedOut' : 400, 'overlayShow' : true, 'frameWidth' : 500, 'frameHeight' : 600, 'hideOnContentClick' : false }); });` 4. Ata->Add HTML/CSS->HTML Inserts: Header `<script type="text/javascript" src="/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.fancybox.pack.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.fancy.js"></script>` 5. Ata->Add HTML/CSS->CSS Inserts : `div#fancy_overlay {position: fixed; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; display: none; z-index: 30;} div#fancy_loading {position: absolute; height: 40px; width: 40px; cursor: pointer; display: none; overflow: hidden; background: transparent; z-index: 100;} div#fancy_loading div { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 40px; height: 480px; background: transparent url('fancy_progress.png') no-repeat;} div#fancy_outer { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; z-index: 90; padding: 20px 20px 40px 20px; margin: 0; background: transparent; display: none;} div#fancy_inner { position: relative; width:100%; height:100%; background: #FFF;} div#fancy_content { margin: 0; z-index: 100; position: absolute;} div#fancy_div { background: #000; color: #FFF; height: 100%; width: 100%; z-index: 100;} img#fancy_img { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; border:0; padding: 0; margin: 0; z-index: 100; width: 100%; height: 100%;} div#fancy_close { position: absolute; top: -12px; right: -15px; height: 30px; width: 30px; background: url('fancy_closebox.png') top left no-repeat; cursor: pointer; z-index: 181; display: none;} #fancy_frame { position: relative; width: 100%; height: 100%; display: none;} #fancy_ajax { width: 100%; height: 100%; overflow: auto;}` 6. Into the above page I put: `<a href="/wp-content/accommodations/holiday_inn_city_centre.htm" class="pop"> Mercure Hotel</a>` 7. I have Exec-php installed. The window displays without a popup... In the post http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthr...light=fancybox there is reference to it having to be inside a template, but I'm not sure how to do this, as it's going to be needed on all posts... Can you help ? Kind regards, Joan |
I installed the Fancybox for WordPress plugin on one of my sites and it works fine. I think I may have had a conflict with another plugin like Highslide or something but it was pretty easy to get up and running.

Hey Larry (Miles & Miles of Smiles ;)
Thanks a million - I had installed that but it must have conflicted with some other javery thingy so I deactivated it, but now that I've paired down my plugins, it works a charm, including displaying html popup content. .. . .. Kind regards, Joan |
