This might be a silly question, but can i use the monezuma theme for my business website?

Thanks juggledad.

In that case, i have a few problems that i'm hoping someone can help me with.

1) I have manully added a banner within the header section. This looks ok on normal desktop screen, but when viewed on mobile device (small screen) the banner doesn't repeat acooss the top of the screen?

2) i have added a div (image) between the banner and content section, but also when viewed on a mobile device, it all breaks up.

3) how can i move the menu to below the logo?

Sorry for all the questions, but im abit stuck and not to good at CSS etc.

My site is http://www.tcelectrical.net

This is a work in progress, so go easy :)

Thanks

Tom.

First of all are you using one of the responsive grids?

Tommyt May 6, 2013 03:42 AM

I'm using the non responsive layout.

why?? if you are going to view it on mobie devices??

I dunno, when i view it on my phone (iphone) i like the way it looks, it's just that the top banner doesnt span the entire screen, and the image gets pushed to the left hand side, rather than being centered.

I believe it looks ok on the iphone because it is scaled - you should check some other devices

Seems the same on my android tab as well

there is some CSS that kicks in when the screen width drops below certian values 0 you can look thru the CSS files to see them. You may have to change them

go to MTO-> Export Import copy your settings to a text file and attach it to a reply.

Ive tried adding repeat x to the banner within the CSS but still no joy. I've attached a screen shot of what's happening

Have you tried using a responsive grid? That MAY fix the issues.

juggledad May 8, 2013 05:49 PM

Well I have played wth this far too long on my desktop and iPad and my conclusion is that Safari on teh iPad and Safari on the desktop are not acting the same and I have no suggestions for you. Sorry:(

I've actually found out a way to do it, I've had to add a repeating background to the body. This allows the image to span the entire width of the page when view either on mobile or full desktop.

I have not comes across another issue, how do make the footer span the entire page when viewed on a mobile?

Can you repeat and image across the top and bottom of a page?

The Laziest Stylesheet Plugin has a separate stylesheet that you can customize for mobiles.
