[SOLVED] Category menu formatting issue with more than one category

After adding a second (or third) category and links, the formatting of the category menu is inconsistent. The bullet type and the way the hyperlink is displayed is totally different then the Atahuapa style. I didn't modify any style setting, just added a new category. Atahualpa 3.4.4 http://ctcleanenergy.com/blog/ thanks

I don't see a category menu.

Perhaps I'm not referring to it properly. The problem is in the right hand column, under recent posts and Blogroll. The next section, websites we like, was created by adding a new link category. I assumed that section would pick up the same formatting as the rest of the content in that section by default.

So "Website We Like" is another category along with "Blogroll"?

That's correct. Any additional category I add gets the non-standard formatting. I've deleted "Blogroll" and then "Websites We Like" looked correct. Basically, any additional category displays incorrectly.

What's happening is when you have no widgets in your sidebars you get these "filler" widgets which will give the results you mentioned.

All you have to do is add the "Recent Posts" and "Blog Roll" Widget to the right sidebar and all will be good. You could of course add the "Meta" widget if you like.
