How can I have NO color in page Menu Bar and/or use an image for background?

I would like to have the option to pick no color in the page menu bar background and hover so as that the background shows through?

Also, could I put in an image for the background/hover chioces?
i.e. background: url (/images/menubackground.gif);

You can use transparent in the CSS. As for the image for the menu background have you tried a search. It seems like I have seen posts on the forum with regards to that.
