Changing Domain Name - Want to Keep Current Website
 

I currently am using the Atahualpa 3 theme. My website, www.marilynkelleyart, is hosted on hostgator. The website was entirely set up for me, so I don't really know any programming. I love my website and want to keep it just as it is, but want to change the name. I've purchased another domain. I've been told that I can point the new domain to my current nameservers, but I don't know what else I have to change to update all my pages to the correct url. Am I making sense?? :confused:

The easiest way to do this is forward the new domain name to the current domain name. You would typically do that on your registrar. You could also use a tool like BackupBuddy to move the site to a new domain name. BackupBuddy will take care of all the heavy lifting but still requires some knowledge.
