Add page to category menu bar
 

First off, let me see that Atahualpa is my FAVORITE theme. I create customized WP sites as a side job and it's my go-to starting point thanks to its simplified customization.

On my current project, I have the pages on a side bar and the categories in the header. However, I want to add a single page on to the category menu. I've seen an archived thread on here that adds categories to page menus, but I want the other way around. Any tips? I don't even mind hardcoding the text and link since it's just a single page, but I need to know where to insert the code.

I've got my fingers crossed that a future update will include the WP 3.0 custom menu feature. :)

As of version 3.5.2, Atahualpa supports the new menu's

I know this is an old thread but it is the only one I can find that addresses my question.

I would like to create a Page but link to it in my Category bar, not the Page bar. (http://ahensnest.com/) I like the way my menus are set up now using the theme's menu options.

Do I have to switch to the new WP menu system in order to link to just one Page in the Cat. bar? There must be a way to add it in there? Is there a plug in that might work with my current menus?

unless you can find a plugin, the only other way would be to make a change to the code itself since the code is looking at the categories when it creates the menu
