No dual color on page titles?
 

What do I change to get only one color on the page titles?
Or better yet, get rid of the page titles altogether and be able to put anyting I want there directly in the page editor.

You would make the changed in post.css. You can change the color for the proper .hentry and .firstpart selectors or you could add display:none to hide the title.
