Replace Header Image with HTML instead of jpg, gif. Can this be done?

My plan is to use the Header to monetize using Hostgator. The code given is HTML. It works OK with the widget but how can I do this with the Header Image?

Any other suggestion to get this done? I am not a techie...

in the 'configure Header Area' option, you can remove the %image and put html in there - experiment, it's the best way to learn.
