Footer: How do I remove the smiley?
 

I installed the Atahualpa Theme on a new blog and in the footer with the Powered by WordPress & Atahualpa under that it has a smiley. How do I remove that? I cannot see it in the code. I don't see the need for it and would like to remove the smiley if possible.

You see that the & is next to Atahualpa this is how it came out of the box ... someone might want to just tweak that in the original... minor but annoying.

I believe the smile is put in by one of the google plugins - it is not part of atahualpa

Google plugins I don't have one of those either... but now i have a source I will track it down.

it's one of the plugins adding that.

For this, see PATCH 367-01, and while you're at it, apply all of the rest of the patches which are stickies in the New Versions, & Updating forum.

The smiley comes from the wordpress stats plugin

I think the smiley can also come from the SimpleScripts process to install WP. There is a plugin to get rid of it, as I recall.
