How do I change the Id of a post?
 

I have a site called www.thetruthaboutlifeexposed.com and my intention is have posts that explain how to do things like buy cars and houses etc. I have heard that it is easier for search engines to find blogs if the title is in the url.

First of all is this true?

And second how would I do it so that www.thetruthaboutlifeexposed.com/?page_id=34 becomes www.thetruthaboutlifeexposed.com/howtobuyanewcar any help would be greatly appreciated

PS please keep in mind I'm kind of new to the whole process so don't assume I know too much thank you ;)
