[SOLVED] Blog Date Problem
I am having an issue with the blog date
I am trying to use the format: By %author%, on %date('F jS, Y')% which i believe is the default in the: Atahualpa theme options - edit post/ page info ( i have checked and the correct code is present) I have then checked: Settings - General - Custom date which show F jS, Y and the correct date sample. However on the blog i get the correct author but just the F jS, Y letters showing instead of the date... I am using the latest version of wordpress and theme version 3.5.1 thanks for your help |
Can you supply a link to your site? Also which theme options boxes do you have the "By %author%, on %date('F jS, Y')%" code?

the blog address is http://blog.masayastudios.com
the theme option boxes where the code is entered are: Byline: Home page Byline: Multi post page Byline: Single post page much appreciated for your help Tim |
Have you tried deactivating your plugins to see if it is a conflict? It seems like I have seen that issue before but can't remember what what was the cause.

export your settings and attach them to a reply

thanks i resolved the problem...
as lmilesw correctly pointed out, there was a conflict with a plugin so i turned off all the plugins currently not required for the blog and the date appeared again... a temporary fix...good for now! once the blog is incorporated into a full site instead of a standalone i'm sure the issue will persist! |
