odd behavior of items in center column
 

Can someone suggest why my posts and/or images are off to the side, in the sidebar? I've been going round in circles and can't seem to find the trouble. Plus, there are "recent posts" clear off the side, almost as if they're in the background - and I haven't the faintest idea how they got there!

I don't have the same issue on my other site, and am not finding what isn't set the same... any help or point in the right direction is much appreciated, it's driving me bonkers.

what do you have the right sidebar width set to?

It was set to 0, due to my most recent attempt to get it to behave. When I had a sidebar over there, the center column was bleeding over into it.

I've taken a screen shot of each. Right now, it's set with the right sidebar at 200.

Site looks fine to me.

Edited to add: nevermind. I have no idea what is going wrong, but things keep getting weirder. I have some page that are showing old logo and colors, and some that are showing new - even on computers that have never viewed the site before, so it shouldn't be a cache issue. Going to reinstall and try from scratch.

there is a "recent posts" widget that on the far right, and I can't tell if it's in the sidebar or is somehow in the background?

the text stays where it belongs, but the image is again, over into the right sidebar...

And when I remove the sidebar, all the images scoot even further right.

you have a caching plugin active - this means you are making changes and then going to the site but seeing the old page till the page expires and then the new version is added to the cache.

flush the cache and disable the plugin while you are developing or making changes.
