[SOLVED] Sexy Bookmarks and Sticky posts
 

I just installed sexy bookmarks plugin and it works great. I would like it to appear on the front page under each post except for the Sticky post I have that stays on top always. Sexy Bookmarks says to enter custom code on the post that I have set as a sticky. (Hide SexyBookmarks - True) This works great for the sticky post...the book marks no longer appear on the sticky post, but the bookmarks for the rest of the post on the front page become text instead of icons. Has anyone had this issue and know the fix? currently I have it set to appear on the sticky until I find a fix.

By the way, this only occurs on the front page when the hide sexybookmarks is set to true on the sticky post...all other pages display the bookmarks correctly, even the post when they are clicked on are correctly displayed.

have you checked with the plugin's author?

Have posted a question on the author's site also? No response yet. Just hoping someone on here had already experienced the same issue--this forum is usually quick with answers!

try putting this in the FOOTER

That code left the sexy bookmarks on the sticky post AND added the bookmarks into the footer. I removed the code after testing it.

I may have mis lead you, it should go in ATO->Edit POST/PAGE INFO ITEMS->FOOTER: Homepage and 'FOOTER: Multi Post Pages' etc

and don't forget to remove it from where you had put it

At first I had double bookmarks, but I removed the setting within Sexy Bookmarks (like you said) and that fixed the double part. Now I have no bookmarks on the Sticky post but have them on all other post/pages like I wanted.
