Add a page from Dreamweaver

Hi guys

I am following this tutorial on how to create a web page with Dreamweaver. I would like to know how do i upload a page created with dream weaver on my Atahualpa theme. Because at the moment when I upload the page using FTP it become my home page. I want it to be a separate page, e.g mysite.com/something

Here is the tutorial I am following: http://www.thesitewizard.com/dreamwe...torial-1.shtml

Thanks for any help

you don't WordPress and dreamweaver are two different beasts.

I suggest you watch some videos on 'how to create a page with WordPress'.

I do believe there are WordPress addons that let you use Dreamweaver with WordPress but I have never used them.

I'm guessing the page you uploaded is called index.html? On some servers this will be picked up/read before index.php (Wordpress). They can happily both exist and be read separately (on some servers)

If you name it mynewpage.html, then you will be able to create a link to it and it will display as it should, but it wont be a page within Atahualpa, thats a Wordpress site, not html.

If you want the "content" of the page "on" an Atahualpa website "page" then just copy the code of the "content" and paste it into the html tab of a new Wordpress/Atahualpa page.

Thank you very much guys. I thought I could create a website with dreamweaver and turn it into a wordpress site when done.

@Jam, yes the page is index.html. I think i will try your suggestion of copying the page html and paste it on the new Wordpress/Atahualpa page.

Thanx again
