What kind of searches?
Where is the time stamp showing?
Do you have a URL pointing to an example?

My site articles in the search engines like Google and bing appears first with a date at the start of the meta description. I want to remove the date from appearing in search engines but remain in my blog posts. Look at the image to see the underlined part which i do not want appearing in search engines.

are you saying you want it to remain on the page and yet not be passed to google when they index the page?

Exactly that is what i want

I know of no way to do that

I research and found the above script i have given above which you place within the date thumb stamp. Google ignores any data in scripts so it will ignore it. the problem is where to place it in atahualpa theme.

The dates on posts are set in the theme options at ato->Edit POST/PAGE INFO ITEMS HOWEVER, you can not add a script there. This means you will have to edit the theme code to add the script in. You can look in bfa_postinfo.php.

Good Luck

that is what i was looking for but which lines do i place in the script?

That's the part you are going to have to figure out. I don't know how you are going to integrate that script into that code.
