How to combine logo and image section?
 

I'm evaluating the Atahualpa Theme and would like to combine the logo and image areas.

What I'm trying to accomplish is something like this:

IMAGE -> Blog Title -> Posts Feed / Comments Feed
Blog Tagline Search Box

I found how to overlay the Blog Title and Blog Tagline over the Header Image, but this creates a huge white space area on the top left and center of the page; so I'd like to overlay the subscription links and search box (right aligned) as well.

How may I do this?

there is a writeup in the gold forum about overlaying the logo on he image, you could use this as a basis to do the same for the subscription and search area.

@juggledad - i've been trying to figure out how to do the same for a few days now. could you point me to that post that you referred to? sorry for the obtuseness, but i'm a wordpress neophyte and i really appreciate it!
