Changing title font between home page and single post

The titles of my posts are in a different font weight on my main page, compared to single post pages. I would like the font on my single post page to be the same as my main page. I have looked through the forums, and tried changing the "make post/page titles h1" in SEO, but that hasn't made a difference. (I also changed the "meta title tag separator" option as a test, but the symbol didn't change either, so maybe it is a larger problem than just the font?)

Here is my main page: http://poppygallico.com/

Single post page: http://poppygallico.com/uncategorize...bvious-by-now/

I would like to change the title font, the "x comment to..." and the "leave a comment" to be the same as the main page title font, but I cannot figure out where I have to go to change it.

Secondly, I would like to get rid of all the white space outside the borders of the sidebars and central column, so the background image is visible (particularly the bottom of the sidebars that stretch to the bottom of the page.) Is this possible? I would preferably like to have the widgets and posts separated from each other, I'm wanting a blog version of this page pretty much: http://www.nilsfolkevaldemar.se/

If it is really complicated to do the second one (I am not good at the really convoluted stuff) it doesn't matter, I am mainly concerned with the title font issue.

I have the latest version of Atahualpa and WP, and have viewed the page in the latest Firefox and IE.

if you set ATO->Configure SEO->Make Post/Page Titles H1? to NO, then on both multi post and single post pages, the post title should become an H2

To get the background to show thru, you have to make the sidebars transparent wince they sit on top of the page background
ATO->Style & configure SIDEBARS->LEFT sidebar style
set background: transparent;
do it for all teh sidebars

I did try the first suggestion and it hasn't worked, so I'm pretty much stuck as to what could be stopping it from changing.

Actually they are both now h2's. the reason they look different is because one is pure text and the other is a link.

On a single post page, the post headline is just plain text.
On a multi post page, the post headline is a link that will take you to the single post page.

These can be styled differently but if you want them both as 'not bold' go to ATO->Body, Text & Links->Link Text Bold or Not and set it to 'normal'
