Hi, first of all - thanks, Atahualpa is nice theme. However I wanted to start from a single page layout, so I've started disabling most things (so I could enable them later when I have content). I have noticed, that actually - if I remove %pages or %cats from the string "%logo %pages %cats" in v.3.5.1 or 3.5.3 (Style & edit HEADER AREA -> Configure Header Area), menu texts disappear, but both grey menu-bars are still there.

How can I disable/hide menu bars completely?

I've tested on Google Chrome 5 and IE 8.
BTW, IE shows an error at the page load:

Those gray bars are a background image.

Thanks for your reply.

OK, how can I simply hide that grey coloured background bar (even if it's an image), then?
My main webpage text (below) is moved on those bars too, and those bars are partially covered with a white-colored rectangle (must be by main/center column).

I think the background image in that particular instance is set in ATO>Body, Text, & Links.

No, neither changing ATO>Body, Text, & Links, nor ATO>Header Area (MENU 1) backgrounds help.

Here's how it looks: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9757452/example.bmp

So in ATO>Body, Text, & Links you don't see a background line such as shown here?

Giedrius Aug 14, 2010 01:33 AM

Yes, it's there, thanks a lot for the help
