How to add content to the second column?
 

Hi guys, I want to add a second column on some of my posts and pages instead of the right side bar. when am on the screen to edit a post i go to "screen option" and then i select the radio button "2" on number of columns. I do see something like a column appearing on the right side but i cannot seem to figure out how to edit it. How do i add content to it?

The column you are referring to is just the layout of the dashboard. To add more columns to a post means adding code to it. There are also some plugins that provide that functionality such as Shortcodes Ultimate.
